LOCATION:  Bushwick, Brooklyn
TYPE: New Residential and Community Facility Building

This 9-story, 32-unit apartment building will be constructed on a 100 ft x 100 ft mid-block lot in the emerging Bushwick section of Brooklyn.  There will be a community facility space at the first floor and parking for 16 cars in the cellar.  The flat-plate concrete structure will be clad with brick and corrugated metal panels.  Roof terraces for tenants are provided at the 2nd floor level and at the top of the building to take advantage of 360 degree views of Brooklyn and Manhattan.  The project is the sister building of the owner’s Himrod Street Apartments, also by BORO Architects.  BORO provided the architectural design and permit expediting services for all Department of Buildings approvals.  The building is slated for groundbreaking in Spring of 2017.
